Our mission is to provide a positive learning opportunity for students and create exceptional media for our fans and partners.
Our History:
Established in 1987, Seminole Productions was established as the premier video production source at Florida State University. From the beginning Seminole Productions was established as a professional video production company with a focus on providing opportunities for students to learn from industry professionals while receiving training and hands on experience opportunities. Seminole Productions has been recognized as an industry leader in its college sports programming. It was one of the first programs of its kind and has inspired universities throughout with its forward thinking and innovation. Nowhere else in the nation could you find a place where students could earn college credit while working on professional televised sports productions.
For several decades, Seminole Productions has been the symbol of excellence and quality programming. It led the way with many firsts in its programming offerings and offered a platform and resource for fans to learn about their student athletes and program history. Seminole Productions has produced several award-winning television shows including Seminole Sports Magazine, Seminole Uprising, Bobby Bowden Show, and the list goes on.
In addition, Seminole Productions has collected numerous national awards for individual features produced by students. Founding members of Seminole Productions have been honored within the sports video production industry including the Sports Venue Group Hall of Fame. For most of its existence, Seminole Productions has produced television shows, sports venue presentations, special events, and provided recruiting and team video needs.
Live Sports Broadcasting Video Control Room Tour
Seminole Productions has 5 video control rooms which are equipped with the latest sports broadcasting equipment.

Control Room A is one of two live sports broadcasting video control rooms that produces games on the ESPN networks. This space is used to broadcast both digital (ACCNX) and linear (ESPN, ESPN 2, ESPNU, ACCN) broadcasts. The room features two rows of seating and work space for a Producer, Director, Technical Director, A1, Replay Packager, Replay Operator, Associate Director, Associate Producer, Graphics Operator, and Bug Operator. Equipment includes a Ross Acuity 4 M/E production switcher, Yamaha Rivage PM 7 audio console, (2) Evertz Dream Catcher replay stations, and (2) Ross Xpression graphics workstations. Most control room stations are flexible and interchangeable via KVM.

Control Room B is one of two sports broadcasting video control rooms that produces games on the ESPN network. Control Room C is our main Sports Venue Entertainment (SVE) video control room. The room contains work space for a Director/Technical Director, Graphics, Clips, Replay, and Audio. Equipment includes a Ross Carbonite Black 2 M/E switcher, (2) Evertz Dream Catcher replay systems, (1) Ross Xpression graphics system, (1) PVP video player, and (1) Yamaha CL 5 audio mixer.

Control Room D is our second Sports Venue Entertainment (SVE) video control room. The room contains work space for a Director/Technical Director, Graphics, and Clips operator. Equipment includes a Ross Graphite 2 M/E switcher and (1) Ross Xpression graphics and clips player.

Control Room E is our third Sports Venue Entertainment (SVE) video control room. The room contains work space for a Director/Technical Director, Graphics, and Clips operator. Equipment includes a Ross Graphite 2 M/E switcher and (1) Ross Xpression graphics and clips player.

Aux Replay Room is a replay exclusive control room. This room contains space for two replay operators using Evertz Dream Catchers. The room also features a Ross Piero station which creates augmented reality graphics.

The TOC Engineering room is the rack room that house most broadcasting workstations and router equipment. Equipment that can be found in here include Ross Xpressions, Ross Acuity and Carbonite Frames, Evertz Dream Catchers, Camera CCU's, Evertz Router, and the list goes on. The TOC is the room that receives and distributes signals.
